The Human Resources Business Partner provides comprehensive HR support through strategic partnership and hands-on HR administration. This position partners with leaders to address workforce needs, talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives while directly managing HR Generalist functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and employee lifecycle management. The position plays a critical role in supporting company objectives, mitigating risk, and fostering a positive and high-performing work environment while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE BA/BS Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources required.Two (2) years' or more experience in a Human Resources role.Experience in a union environment a plus.Experience using ADP Workforce Now preferred.Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification preferred. WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The work is performed inside at LBCT sites, including temporary offices. Position is based in Long Beach, CA; work assignments may require travel to other locations. Periodic travel to meetings, training events, and other business-related locations may be required.
